PROGRAM STAFF

Our lead classroom instructors are highly qualified teachers who teach at East Voyager Academy.  All staff have training in language immersion and all lead teachers are native Mandarin speakers with many having a Masters degree with proficiency in multiple languages. Program administrators are experienced leaders in language immersion and knowledgeable about STARTALK goals and objectives. All staff members complete East Voyager Academy's hiring process, including background checks, before working with your children.

CURRICULUM AND THEME

Daily instruction revolves around our program theme of Culture and Celebrations. During the program, students will use the target language to participate in engaging cultural activities and create cultural products related to a variety of celebrations, festivals, and events including making paper kites, calligraphy, dances, and art. As we celebrate together, students will exchange information about their families, lives, and traditions with their peers.
