Cohort 18 21st Century Community Learning Centers 

RE: Notice of Intent to Submit an Application for Cohort 18 21st Century Community Learning Centers supporting out-of-school time programming

In accordance with the application instructions from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, EVA is submitting a public notice to the community of Charlotte, NC, stating its intent to submit an application for a 21st CCLC After School Programs grant in Mecklenburg County. Eligible students and families of EVA will be served in the aforementioned areas.

 

The purpose of the Community Learning Program, as described in our organizational mission, is to provide opportunities for eligible communities to establish or expand activities that focus on:

  1. Improved academic performance for all eligible students, English Language Students, and Educationally Disadvantaged Students. 

  2. Enrichment services that reinforce and complement the academic program as well as social and emotional development

  3. Community and family engagement
