Administration & staff

She has been an adjunct instructor for six years for teachers and principals at the post-secondary and graduate levels. She has taught at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels in math, social studies and English Language Arts. Her professional experiences include leadership in and development of Montessori and public choice options, school consolidation, Freshman Academies, Ford Academy of Manufacturing Sciences, diagnostic and formative data systems, and school reform.
She holds professional educator certification as a superintendent, K-12 principal, secondary social studies and secondary English Language Arts.
Mrs. Mathews said, “I am excited at the opportunities to grow East Voyager Academy in enrollment, academic rigor, and Mandarin proficiency. Parents, students and staff have been very welcoming and enthusiastic. They have already volunteered many hours to help as we embark on our new voyage together.”
