I am extremely excited to be given the opportunity to lead East Voyager to even greater excellence. I possess over 40 years of classroom teaching and administrative experience and I look forward to building relationships with the parents, students, and staff of this amazing school.
I’m ecstatic to be joining EVA of Charlotte to better support our school, teachers, and students towards building our mission of strong academics, intercultural competence, and bilingual proficiency! I was born and raised in Columbia, SC and am a first-generation American-born Chinese.
I've been in education for 30 years. During that time, I've taught almost every grade level as well as undergraduates and graduates. I homeschool my children for 10 years until I became a charter school developer in 2010. I enjoy working in the charter school environment. I was a part of the original committee that started EVA in 2016. I received my Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Technology in 2018. I'm excited to move to a full time position with the school and use my experience and expertise to help the EVA family grow!
